Cinnamon as a "Statin" replacement ?
Cinnamon may work almost as well as statin drugs to control cholesterol and triglycerides. It was found to be equally effective in a recent study of people with type 2 diabetes--and may also work for healthy people too. Cinnamon contains a substance that seems to help the body utilize insulin more effeciently. The study indicated that one-half teaspoon per day was enough--however, speak with your doctor before stopping any perscribed medication.
ADHD Remedy ?
Seriously, is there something out there that will remedy this without harmful narcotics ? May be.....
A study was shown from the U.K. that Flaxseed oil tablets where given to kids with ADHD (ADD). In that time frame of several weeks, good and promising results where achieved ! And without the narcotics ! Doctors controlled the amount of tablets taken by the kids throughout the day with little or no side effects. Please consult your physician before undertaking this trial to get their OK. Flaxseed oil tablets can be taken oraly up to 6 tablets per day for adults and are readily available at your local pharmacy or Sam's Club for about 10 dollars per bottle. **Many other benefits coincide with Flaxseed oil** Naturally.
